NCETA Conference 2022 “Breaking New Ground”
Thank you to everyone that attended this year’s conference!
Perseverance, Determination and Resilience are just a few of the adjectives to describe the NCETA Board and conference attendees of the NCETA Spring Conference 2022, Breaking New Ground. From the inception to the denouement, the conference was filled with excitement, enthusiasm and great anticipation of what’s coming next as we continue to “Break New Ground”.
Conference attendees traveled from across the state to the beautiful Hotel Ballast in the historic City of Wilmington, NC. Fervent chatter and exhilarating dialogue permeated the atmosphere. Speakers and challenging topics abounded at the three-day event. It was an exciting and busy three days – full of engaging keynote speakers, thought-provoking workshops, collaboration with new and existing colleagues, and connecting with workforce development professionals from across the state. Attendees went home with a wealth of information to digest to change our lives as well as the lives of those we serve.
In addition to the tremendous learning opportunities our annual conference continually provides, some of the principal takeaways were the many excellent opportunities to network with and learn from the other passionate professionals in our growing specialty area of Workforce Development. The hallway discussions, corner huddles, and meal conversations were robust and destined to leave a lasting impact on all those in attendance. We owe an abundance of gratitude to the conference attendees, NCETA members, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, panelists, moderators, board members, conference planning committee and Hotel Ballast for harmoniously making this conference a huge success.
